Selective service released their Debut EP on 6th November which includes the tracks "Ward 43","Greyhound Blues","Moth To The Flame" and "Give Up You Own Game".

Sensorites released their Second Single(EP)on the 15th of November which has 6 versions of the song "Just Because You Can".

A new feature page has been added called Chris Helme and The Yards. For anyone who doesn't know who Chris Helme is then you may know him better as Lead Singer from The Seahorses who had hits including Love Is The Law and Blinded By The Sun.After leaving The Seahorses he formed The Yards who released two albums before splitting at the end of 2009.He is now a solo artist and is gigging extensively throughout the uk.Check out the feature page for more info.

This week at The Attic in Bathgate sees Bez from The Happy Mondays with a dj set on Friday,Mark Morris of The Bluetones on Saturday and The Xcerts on Sunday night.

Robert Plant Headlines Electric Proms

Robert Plant is to be one of the headliners for the BBC Electric Proms.
The iconic frontman will headline The Roundhouse of October 29, joined by The Band Of Joy and the London Oriana Choir.
This will be broadcast from 8pm on BBC Radio 2. It’s also being filmed for A Night With Robert Plant, which is to be screened by BBC 2 on November 6. This is to be a night long celebration of the former Led Zeppelin vocalist. Also featured will be a new and exhaustive documentary, including a rare and in depth interview with the man himself.

Robert Plant has revealed his ears bled for two days after seeing former Led Zeppelin bandmate John Paul Jones play with Them Crooked Vultures at the Royal Albert Hall.
Talking to The Independent newspaper, the singer said:
“I feel so far away from heavy rock now. It’s quite odd, how mine and John’s paths seem to have crossed over – we’ve sort of gone into each others’ worlds a bit.”

Falkirk Wheel Festival 2010

This year is the first year of "The Falkirk Wheel Festival" and headlining is local band The Ray Summers.The event will be on Saturday 30th October 2010 and tickets cost just £7.00.A great line-up of  support acts is to be announced over the coming weeks.Lead guitarist Dougie from the band commented "We've not played a big show in Falkirk for absolute ages so when we heard that a big event was being organised at The Falkirk Wheel we were delighted to be asked to play. We've played all over the country but nowhere quite like The Falkirk Wheel. We're sure it will turn out to be a really cool place to do a gig. Quite fancy playing a wee acoustic show on the Wheel itself!This year will be a trial event held inside.Next year there will be two stages one inside and one out with other entertainment.This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area for overnight stays.More information as it happens..........
