Robert Plant Headlines Electric Proms

Robert Plant is to be one of the headliners for the BBC Electric Proms.
The iconic frontman will headline The Roundhouse of October 29, joined by The Band Of Joy and the London Oriana Choir.
This will be broadcast from 8pm on BBC Radio 2. It’s also being filmed for A Night With Robert Plant, which is to be screened by BBC 2 on November 6. This is to be a night long celebration of the former Led Zeppelin vocalist. Also featured will be a new and exhaustive documentary, including a rare and in depth interview with the man himself.

Robert Plant has revealed his ears bled for two days after seeing former Led Zeppelin bandmate John Paul Jones play with Them Crooked Vultures at the Royal Albert Hall.
Talking to The Independent newspaper, the singer said:
“I feel so far away from heavy rock now. It’s quite odd, how mine and John’s paths seem to have crossed over – we’ve sort of gone into each others’ worlds a bit.”
